I’m Jeannette, designer, creator and principal of Twinleaf. A born and raised city girl with a passion for growing and making things. When I’m not working in the garden with my daughters or leading clients through landscape and garden projects, I’m probably on the road exploring this marvelous world of ours. Why Twinleaf? | Jeffersonia diphylla
Twinleaf is the common name for a rare spring woodland wildflower of the eastern US. It is the only species of this genus in North America. The plant is named after it’s large blue-green leaves which appear to be symmetrical halves like the wings of a butterfly. The showy white flower emerges in early spring and appears to glow on the forest floor. We admire this unique ephemeral and wish to associate our work with a thing of such rare form and beauty.
